Special sources revealed to the Syrian news site - "Nada' Post" that a group of officers in the ranks of Brigadier General and Lieutenant Colonel affiliated with the "national army" in Libya, led by the Libyan general Khalifa Haftar, left Damascus this week back to Benghazi airport in eastern Libya.
Sources stated that more than 30 Libyan officers underwent a special training course in the last few months at the scientific research center in Jamraya, with the aim of developing their expertise in the composition of chemical substances and their use in missiles and other weapons.
According to the source of "Nada' Post", the president of the Syrian regime, Bashar al-Assad, met with the Libyan officers after the end of their training course.
Assad also hinted at the need for political coordination between the Syrian regime and Haftar's forces to confront Turkish ambitions in Syria and Libya.
