Troops of the undercover unit of the Jerusalem Police together with the soldiers of the Police Force, the members of the Sting Unit, the Diamond Unit, the IDF soldiers from the Etzion anti-aircraft missile and the police's aerial formation were prepared to make arrests in the village of Abu Dis in the "Etzion" territorial division of the squad Terrorists who sprayed explosives at our forces and wounded two Border Guard soldiers on 04.07.23 in Rachel's Tomb, and who, according to intelligence, possess weapons and intend to carry out more attacks against civilians and security forces.
Today it was allowed to be published that about a month ago, the forces arrived covertly in the dead of night to the village of Abu Dis and arrested the two terrorists at the same time in 2 different compounds.
In the search carried out by the forces in the house of the suspects, veils, pepper spray, an explosive device and other equipment for making explosive devices were seized. The charges were detonated in the field by a diamond unit.
