Netanyahu ‘stunned and alarmed’ that Trump ‘prohibits’ Israel from striking Hezbollah

According to the ceasefire, Israel may respond “in self-defense, at any time, against planned, imminent, or ongoing attacks.”

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his advisers expressed alarm on Saturday after President Trump posted that Israel was “prohibited” from carrying out strikes in Lebanon, a statement Israeli officials viewed as exceeding the terms of the ceasefire agreement, Axios reported.

Netanyahu was “personally stunned and alarmed” by Trump’s post, according to the report.

Trump wrote on Truth Social, “Israel will not be bombing Lebanon any longer. They are PROHIBITED from doing so by the U.S.A. Enough is enough!!!”

Netanyahu is much more clever than Trump and his circles. Any decision taken by Trump that is not in favor of Israel is not his own. Netanyahu knows that very well.
