A Palestinian flag displayed on a major cathedral in Vienna has ignited sharp criticism online, with commentators warning that such symbolic acts are part of a growing ideological push across Europe.
Social media users noted that “this is what occupation looks like,” arguing that each flag on every central landmark in a European capital signals a deeper campaign.
According to the post, Islamists in Europe use “Palestine” merely as a pretext — not as a real cause — to advance a broader goal of cultural and political dominance. The message ends with a pointed remark in Arabic: “Sabah al-kheir, ya Orouba” — “Good morning, Europe,” implying Europe is waking up too late to understand the threat already unfolding within its cities.
The incident comes amid rising tensions across Europe, where pro-Hamas and pro-Iranian networks exploit the Gaza conflict as a platform to spread extremist narratives, intimidate Jewish communities, and legitimize radical political agendas.
