According to the committee, federal grants from USAID, the State Department and other US agencies flowed to organizations that later supported or helped finance groups active in protests against Israel’s elected government.

The memo says some of the funding went through large US-based philanthropic networks, including the Tides Network, Rockefeller-linked entities and other nonprofit channels.

Rep. Jim Jordan, chairman of the House Judiciary Committee, said the issue raises serious questions about whether American taxpayer money was misused to undermine Israel, a key US ally. He said the concern is not only political interference, but also that some money may have indirectly reached organizations with links to anti-Israel or terror-tied groups.
