"Iranian" revenge in Israel in a surprising location?

The energy company from the emirates "Dana Gas" announced today that it is suspending plans to expand its gas field in Kurdistan, "Khur Moore".

This happens after in the last month the gas field has been attacked three times by rockets. The field continues to operate as usual but the company stressed that at this stage until it receives collateral from the local authorities it will not proceed with its expansion.

In Kurdistan, speculation is being raised about the identity of the perpetrators of the attacks. There is agreement that these are pro-Iranian Shiite organizations operating in Iraq.

Regarding the motive for the attacks, there are two main explanations. First, the desire to "take revenge" in Israel. According to Iranian militias, Israel has a significant presence in Kurdistan both in terms of intelligence and in terms of energy resource development. The second explanation has to do with Iraqi domestic politics and the desire to prevent Kurdistan from developing its gas resources and thus reduce its dependence on Iran.
