Gaza-based sources claim Hussein Abd al-Aloul died of wounds from an Israeli airstrike carried out days earlier.
Sources in the Gaza Strip report the death of Hussein Abd al-Aloul, described as the Hamas military commander in Khan Younis. According to the reports, he was critically wounded in an Israeli airstrike targeting the al-Mawasi area of Khan Younis approximately ten days ago and later succumbed to his injuries.
There has been no official confirmation from Hamas or the IDF at this stage. However, if confirmed, the reported death would mark another significant blow to Hamas’s military command structure in southern Gaza, particularly in one of its most strategically important strongholds.
