Trump is considering the sale of F-35 aircraft and a security agreement with Riyadh
Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman will arrive in Washington on November 18 for talks with U.S. President Donald Trump. The meeting marks bin Salman's first visit to the U.S. since 2018 following the murder of Khashoggi.
The visit builds on Trump's visit to Riyadh in May this year, during which he praised Saudi Arabia's economic reforms and signaled openness to deeper security and technology partnerships. White House officials expect major agreements on security, energy, and investments, positioning Saudi Arabia as a key partner in Trump's Middle East policy.
Riyadh will push for approval to purchase F-35A Lightning II stealth fighter jets, a deal previously frozen under the Biden administration.
