To expand the achievements of Operation 'Iron Wall' in northern Samaria, the Nahal Brigade's combat team began offensive activity tonight in the area of the villages in the Sha-Nur Valley in the Menashe Brigade, under intelligence guidance from the Shin Bet.
The Nahal Brigade has been fighting continuously for a year and eight months and has now moved to Judea and Samaria after intense combat in the Gaza Strip. Nahal forces will use the 'Eitan' armored combat vehicle, unique to the brigade, for the second time in Judea and Samaria.
Nahal Brigade forces will remain in the area as long as required and by the situational assessment.
