Mosaab Hassan Youssef, the son of one of Hamas's founders and currently a visiting researcher at the Jerusalem Center for Public Affairs, sharply criticized Qatar during a JCFA session at the Jerusalem Post conference.
According to him, Qatar is playing a double game: it "ignites the fire and presents itself as the extinguisher," while funding billions to Hamas and promoting propaganda through Al Jazeera.
Youssef added that the Hamas leadership in Doha is no less dangerous than that in Gaza and is directly responsible for the events of October 7. "Qatar is a full partner in the crime. It not only funding-it provides sponsorship and propaganda for terrorism.
It is unacceptable that they sit in Doha peacefully while planning the destruction of Israel and the West," he said.
