Hamas political bureau member Mohammad Nazzal claims the Gaza war has fueled global hatred and predicts further attacks against Jews and Israelis.
Hamas Political Bureau member Mohammad Nazzal spoke on December 14, 2025, in an interview on Alghad TV (UAE), responding to the deadly terror attack at a Hanukkah event in Sydney, Australia, in which 15 people were murdered and more than 25 were wounded.
Nazzal placed direct responsibility for the attack on Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, claiming that what he described as a “genocide in the Gaza Strip” has generated hatred toward Israel and the so-called “Zionist occupation.” According to Nazzal, this atmosphere has led to “violent sentiment” not only among Muslims, but also among non-Muslims around the world.
He went on to warn that similar acts of violence should be expected globally, framing the Sydney massacre as part of a broader and ongoing reaction to Israel’s actions, rather than condemning the targeting of Jews attending a religious celebration.
