Arab and Western sources report that during 2024, the Biden administration received a 45-page intelligence file detailing Iraqi government assistance to the Iranian Revolutionary Guards in smuggling Iranian fuel and oil.

The method:

In recent years, Iraqi tankers have been mixing Iranian fuel and oil with a little Iraqi fuel and oil and selling them on the international market through Iraqi companies operated by the Shiite militias in Iraq and the Iranian Revolutionary Guards - this is with the knowledge of the Iraqi government and with a deliberate turn a blind eye to what is happening.

- If they do not "give air" to the Iranian proxy in Iraq, they will once again become their moving targets.

- The US is no longer welcome in Iraq and any move against The Shiite government/militia will almost immediately lead to its removal from the country - which will clearly have repercussions on its presence in Syria.
