Matan Angrest's mother: "He was interrogated and answered, they covered him with black bags"
NEWSRAEL: According to reports reaching us, the 20 hostages released yesterday have shared shocking accounts of brutal torture under Hamas captivity, which are expected to come to light soon.
Anat Angrest, the mother of Matan Angrest—one of the recently freed hostages—spoke emotionally about her son's ordeal. “Until today, I really didn’t know what Matan’s condition was,” she told Keshet News. “He has very severe burns on his right hand and impairments in his fingers. He is my hero.”
She added that Matan described being interrogated and blindfolded with black bags, enduring continuous abuse throughout his two years in captivity.
