The ceasefire this month has led to a reassessment of Israel’s security hold

It turns out that the new areas under control is approximately:

1. 581 km² in Lebanon
2. 242 km² in Syria
3. 202 km² in the Gaza Strip

In total, an addition of 1,025 km² of security buffer around the State of Israel.
