In a February 14, 2026 lecture at a mosque in Raleigh, North Carolina, New York imam Tom Facchine argued that Islam offers what he described as the moral and spiritual remedy America needs.
Speaking at the Islamic Association of Raleigh, Facchine said Muslims possess “the goods,” “the juice,” and the “secret sauce” that the world — and America in particular — needs to know. He criticized the historical foundations of the United States, saying the country was built on the extermination of indigenous peoples and the mass enslavement of Africans. He added that it is a “miracle” that Allah has not already destroyed the nation.
Facchine went on to say that Islam provides a framework of redemption and repentance, and asserted that embracing Islam is the only way for America to redeem itself.
