Israel allegedly enforcing secret deal over southern Syria airspace
Rami Abdul Rahman, director of the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, claims a secret agreement was made between an Israeli minister and Syrian official Al-Shabani during a meeting in France.

According to him, Israel now operates freely in the airspace over southern Syria and targets any movement of military or auxiliary forces.
He says the undeclared deal effectively blocks the entry of military forces into western and northern Suwayda. He also alleges that the area now under Israeli control in southern Syria—captured since December 7 last year—is larger than the Syrian-held portion of the Golan Heights.
