320,000 chickens will be killed in the north due to bird flu, in addition to the 244,000 killed earlier this week in Moshav Margaliot, near Kiryat Shmona, the Ministry of Agriculture announced today (Saturday).

The Minister of Agriculture, Oded Forer, ordered measures to prevent the outbreak from expanding, and to open quotas for importing eggs in order to meet the shortage in the market in Israel.
