An UAV loaded with explosives attacked the residence of Iraqi Prime Minister Mustafa al-Khazmi in Baghdad last night. The Iraqi army said the prime minister had escaped unharmed - calling the incident a "failed assassination attempt."

Preliminary investigation reveals that the trapped UAV used in the assassination attempt is locally made and similar to that used by pro-Iranian armed militias to attack American camps in Iraq.
