New intel suggests 51 Israeli hostages alive in Gaza

So far, the deaths of 37 of the hostages still held by Hamas in Gaza have been announced. It is estimated that at least another 13 are dead but unconfirmed

(Nov. 3, 2024 / JNS) Fifty-one out of the 101 hostages still being held by Hamas in the Gaza Strip are alive, according to the latest Israeli intelligence assessments.

Given the intense military pressure on Gaza and the harsh conditions the hostages have endured for over a year, officials fear the actual number of survivors might be even lower.

During a closed-door session with the Knesset Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee in September, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu revealed that roughly half the hostages were believed to be alive.

Dalya you are correct. I understand wanting hostages freed but releasing the prisoners,my opinion,they will regroup and continue their attacks.

since day 1 Hamas s (perogative) aim goal is its survival the exchange of hostages for prisoners doesnt have weight or it would of occured they must be extinguished

8 hostages- are you kidding?. Alll or none! And not dozens of prisoners, the same amount. Let's not reward hamas for their evil deeds.
