Mosab Hassan Yousef, the son of one of Hamas’ founders, delivered a strong message in Jerusalem, declaring that Israel’s existence is a permanent fact and not a matter for negotiation.
Speaking at the JNS conference, Yousef said that the State of Israel does not depend on the approval of world powers, international opinion polls, or political trends. His remarks came amid ongoing threats against his life and years after he broke with Hamas and became one of the most prominent Arab voices defending Israel.
Yousef also issued a pointed warning to Washington and other international actors: continued attempts to push Israel into a corner will ultimately harm those applying the pressure more than Israel itself.
His message was clear: Israel is not a temporary project, not a diplomatic experiment, and not a bargaining chip. It is a sovereign state whose existence is settled, while those who threaten it continue to expose the moral collapse of the movements and governments that support terrorism.
