Republican Senator Lindsey Graham said in a wide-ranging interview that the fall of Iran’s regime is inevitable and could happen sooner than many expect.
Speaking about the ongoing conflict, Graham argued that the key question is not whether the Iranian regime will collapse, but when. According to him, once the regime falls, the geopolitical map of the Middle East will rapidly change, including a potential breakthrough between Saudi Arabia and Israel.
Graham also called on Arab countries to become more directly involved in confronting Iran. He noted that Iranian attacks have already affected several countries in the region and urged US allies in the Arab world to act rather than leave the fight solely to Washington.
He further predicted that a post-regime Iran could dramatically reshape global energy dynamics. Graham highlighted that Iran and Venezuela together control roughly 31 percent of the world’s oil reserves, suggesting that new partnerships around these resources could emerge if the regime in Tehran collapses.
