"STORM OF THE CENTURY": Milton charges the US coast

NEWSRAEL joins in prayers for the American people to be safe from Hurricane Milton!

The National Hurricane Center has issued a warning that Hurricane Milton will bring a destructive storm surge, potentially exceeding 10 feet, to Florida’s west-central coast when it makes landfall tonight.

Residents in the Storm Surge Warning area should evacuate if directed by local officials, as this Category 5 hurricane poses life-threatening risks. As of 5 a.m. ET, Milton is about 300 miles southwest of Tampa with 160 mph winds.

Rainfall could reach 18 inches, heightening the threat of severe flooding and power outages across the region.
