BREAKING: 7.0 earthquake hits North California, tsunami warning issued
A preliminary magnitude 7.0 earthquake hit some 60 miles off Ferndale in Humboldt County late Thursday morning, according to the United States Geological Survey.

In the aftermath of the shaking, the National Weather Service issued a tsunami warning, urging Californians to "get away from coastal waters." The timing for the tsunami impacts are as follows:
Fort Bragg: 11:10 a.m.
Crescent City: 11:20 a.m.
San Francisco: 12:10 p.m.
The earthquake struck at a depth of about 10 kilometers at approximately 10:44 a.m. No damage or injuries were immediately reported, the USGS said.
