Israeli actress Gal Gadot spoke openly about her deep connection to Israel and her decision to raise her family there despite the challenges facing the country.
Gal Gadot at the President's Conference in a conversation with Michal Herzog:
"My heart is always here and I always miss it. My husband and I are building our home in the land, and if there's a Zionist thing to do now, it's to build a home in Israel. When you come to our house, you'll feel like you're in the land—because the TV is Israeli, we listen to Galgalatz, and the girls go to Jewish schools."
Her comments come at a time when many Israelis continue to debate the future of life in the country amid ongoing security, political, and economic pressures.
