PMW's Itamar Marcus tells Oslo TV about the PA's repeated prayers for the extermination of Jews and why the UN conference to promote Palestinian statehood must not take place.

Two days before Israel launched its war to destroy Iran's nuclear program, PMW Director Itamar Marcus was interviewed by Norwegian Oslo TV. And although the world is focused now on the Israel-Iran war, there will be a day after the war when the world will once again try to impose a terrorist, genocide seeking Palestinian state on Israel. Accordingly, this interview has long-term importance.

Marcus explained that the Oslo Accords created the PA, which very quickly started its genocidal terror incitement. This became the ideological foundation for the Oct. 7, 2023 massacre and the overwhelming Palestinian support for those atrocities. The danger inherent in the accords was the trigger leading to the establishment of PMW, Marcus explains in the interview.

"When the Oslo Accords were signed, I realized, as many in Israel realized, that we were inviting terrorists into our midst. There was no reason to believe that Yasser Arafat was no longer a terrorist – and soon afterwards, I established Palestinian Media Watch," said Marcus. "I said the way to find out what they want and what their targets are is by listening to them and following their activities."

This monitoring activity is necessary because the PA presents itself differently depending on its audience. "There are two worlds: There's the English-language world that they present in Oslo when they want to be accepted," Marcus explained. "And the world that they present to their people is completely different. It's fundamentally hatred of Jews, denying Israel's right to exist as well as promising the destruction of Israel."

"A lot of people will recognize that the PA doesn't recognize Israel's right to exist, but the PA goes even further: They don't recognize Jews' right to exist. Antisemitism is so fundamental. We have heard five times in recent months from preachers including PA Shari'ah judges on official PA TV (that is controlled by the PA), the following prayer as part of the official sermons on Friday: ‘Count the Jews one by one, kill them one by one, don't leave even one.' This is part of the PA's genocide message." (And two calls for extermination just in the last two weeks, since the interview.)

Marcus explained that instead of merely promising a the future when all Jews are exterminated, as the PA has been doing since the year 2000, this current message encourages Palestinians to take initiative and kill Jews according to their ability: "Individual Palestinians can kill one Jew, can kill two Jews, and I think that's why the message is focussing now on ‘kill them one by one.' The message to Palestinians is: ‘Don't think you can't help, even you can kill them one by one.'"

Turning to the Oct. 7 massacre, Marcus noted that many of the victims were themselves Israeli peace activists who had close ties with Gazans. The attack "was a tragic rude awakening for those people who had been deceived by Palestinians whom they had helped."

Pro-Palestinian countries in the West also have been deceived, according to Marcus. "But in many Western countries, we also see clear self-deception," he added, citing examples of Foreign Ministry officials in Norway and other countries who have excused PA terror-supporting activities that he has personally shown them.

Following the Oslo Accords, Marcus said the Norwegian leadership should have said, "Okay, we made a mistake. But instead like a gambler who lost by betting on the wrong horse – he just keeps doubling down and betting more and more - and on the same horse. That's what the Norwegians did, most of the other European countries, and some American leaders as well."

The UN will apparently reschedule an event sponsored by France and Saudi Arabia that was cancelled because of the Israeli-Iran war, and many states have announced that they will recognize a Palestinian state at the event.

This is despite the fact "that all of the evidence about the PA defines them as a terror organization," said Marcus. "It's surreal, it's Kafkaesque, it makes absolutely no sense. We see self-deception. There must be a lot of hatred of Israel and maybe hatred of Jews right under the surface in a lot of these so-called friendly countries."

It certainly is not an action of a rational leadership to see the evidence that the PA is a terror entity and still offer them statehood."

Marcus recently called on Israel to block PA Chairman Mahmoud Abbas from leaving Israel until he retracts statements he made in a recently published interview in the official PA daily praising the success of the Oct. 7 massacre and saying Hamas had "important goals."

Marcus added that the danger of the UN conference is that it could lead to a process at the UN Security Council with worse ramifications, such as recognition of Palestinian statehood and sanctions against Israel. The fact that the US under President Trump will veto the anti-Israel resolutions is important, but no one knows who the next president will be.

Marcus stressed that this is why it is important now to expose the PA's blatant terror support and thereby expose the illegitimacy of this international process to reward them with a state.
