In a rapid closing of the circle: Forces of Division 98 eliminated several terrorist cells that were advancing terror plans against the forces in the Gaza City area.
Yesterday, fighter jets of the Air Force, guided by the Southern Command and the Shin Bet, attacked and eliminated an armed terrorist cell equipped with explosives and mortars. The cell that was eliminated was planning to carry out terror attacks against IDF forces operating in the Gaza City area.
Additionally, another terrorist cell fired a mortar bomb toward IDF forces, resulting in a lightly injured IDF soldier who was evacuated for medical treatment at a hospital, and his family was updated. In a rapid closing of the circle, Air Force fighter jets, guided by Brigade 214, attacked and eliminated the terrorists who posed an immediate threat to the forces in the area.
Later, IDF forces identified a terrorist cell that fired an anti-tank missile toward engineering vehicles of Division 98, with no casualties to our forces.
Following the identification, fighter jets, guided by the fire coordination unit of Brigade 188, attacked and destroyed, in a rapid closing of the circle, the building from which the anti-tank fire was launched.
