WATCH: Ortagus: The US will NOT fall into "Biden trap" with Iran talks

Morgan Ortagus, the US Deputy Special Representative for the Middle East, said in an interview with Al Arabiya:

"The US will not fall into Biden's trap and will not engage in indirect negotiations that will last years."

She emphasized that the negotiations must be intense, rapid and focused.

She accused Iran of pushing the Middle East region into a "dangerous and unstable" phase.
