Protesters at a New York rally openly praised terror leaders and called for attacks on Tel Aviv.
On March 13, 2026, the Al-Quds Committee of New York held a rally and march marking Iran’s International Jerusalem Day, where participants chanted extreme anti-Israel and anti-US slogans. According to reports, speakers and emcees led crowds in chants including “Khamenei is the leader,” “Death to Israel,” and “USA, go to hell,” while also calling on Iran and Hezbollah to strike Tel Aviv.
During the rally, speakers praised the “military prowess and unbreakable spirit” of Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar, Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah, and commanders of Iran’s IRGC and the Houthi movement. One speaker declared that they are “on the brink of victory” and urged supporters to honor “martyrs” and carry their path forward.
Participants displayed images of Iranian leaders including Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini and Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, while waving Iranian flags. Chants were also delivered in Persian, including “Death to Israel” and “Khamenei is the leader.”
