The judiciary-linked Mizan news agency claimed he had provided the Mossad with access to government databases and electronic import channels. 

His appeal was rejected by Iran’s Supreme Court, which upheld his death sentence under charges of “corruption on earth.”

The execution comes as Tehran struggles with deep domestic unrest and economic collapse, using alleged “Mossad spies” as scapegoats to distract from rising anger at home.
