On Saturday, Israeli Air Force fighter jets — guided by precise intelligence from the IDF Military Intelligence Directorate (AMAN) — struck Tehran airport, targeting the Quds Force’s air transport infrastructure.
More than 16 transport aircraft used by the Quds Force were destroyed, along with additional components of the logistical system located around the airport.
The aircraft were part of a covert air bridge used by Iran’s Quds Force to move: • Weapons • Funding • Equipment • Personnel to Iranian proxy groups throughout the region.
Because of its strategic importance, Tehran airport had been under extensive Israeli intelligence surveillance for years. Analysts tracked suspicious takeoffs and landings linked to Quds Force activities.
In an attempt to evade Israeli targeting, Iranian authorities reportedly moved aircraft to scrapping sites to disguise them as decommissioned planes.
According to the Intelligence Directorate, analysts conducted extensive cross-referencing of intelligence sources and decryptions, allowing them to positively identify the aircraft and associated infrastructure.
Once confirmed, the Israeli Air Force carried out precision strikes, effectively dismantling a significant portion of the Quds Force’s aerial logistics network.
The Quds Force, part of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), is responsible for arming, training, and financing Iranian proxy groups across the Middle East.
Disrupting this transport network directly impacts Iran’s ability to supply weapons and resources to allied militias and terror organizations across the region.
