NEWSRAEL: Greta and millions like her demand Israel "make peace" with the worst of extremists - while they cant even make peace between a few dozen activists who belong to the same group!
The self-declared “largest ever flotilla” to Gaza, named 'Sumud', has hit rough waters—not just at sea, but within its own ranks. More than 40 vessels have passed Malta with six more waiting in Greece, aiming to “break the Israeli blockade.” But internal drama overshadows the mission.
Climate activist Greta Thunberg was removed from the flotilla’s steering committee and switched ships after objecting to its media strategy, which she felt focused too much on internal drama and not enough on Gaza. Soon after, communications adviser and journalist Yousef Omar also quit, with reports saying his sensational coverage of an alleged drone “attack” angered participants.
The flotilla, which set sail from Barcelona on August 31, has been plagued by weeks of delays. In Tunisia, activists claimed drones struck two ships with incendiary devices—claims local authorities questioned. Police in Bizerte demanded fingerprinting and photographs of all participants, while a mega-yacht drained the port’s fuel supplies, leaving the flotilla stranded. Several activists quit, citing stress and exhaustion.
