This day teaches us two major things: 

1) That while some countries did help the defenseless Jews, most did not.  

Britain knew, the United States knew, and others knew exactly what goes on in those camps, and nothing was done in order to stop this.

2) Jew hatred is there until this very day.

We see it from Iran.
We see it from the Islamic world.
We see it from the Muslim Brotherhood.
We see the Hamas.
We see it in Hezbollah.
We see it in many places.
And not only this, it migrates today to the West from the Islamic world.
