After about 60 hours, the security forces completed an extensive and significant counter-terrorism operation under the command of the Menashe Brigade in the refugee camp and the city of Jenin.
The forces searched and reached hundreds of buildings, detained suspects for questioning, of which about 60 wanted persons have been arrested so far and transferred to further investigation by the security forces, located and confiscated over 50 weapons of various types, hundreds of explosives and terrorist funds worth over NIS 100,000.
In addition, the fighters located over ten underground shafts, seven cargo laboratories and five observation posts designed to monitor the forces.
Some of the terrorist infrastructures were destroyed by the forces.
Also, a lot of ammunition, materials for preparing explosives, military equipment and many weapon parts were found.
During the operation, an Air Force aircraft attacked two squads of terrorists who threw explosives and fired at the forces, the aircraft killed seven terrorists and wounded others. Over ten terrorists were killed in the entire operation.
During the operation, seven IDF soldiers and an officer were slightly injured, treated in the field and evacuated to continue receiving medical treatment in a hospital.
