Israel’s enemies insist that Jews have no claim to their ancestral land. Yet the Koran itself — and some of Islam’s greatest scholars — affirm the opposite: that God gave the Land of Israel to the Jews, and that they would return.
Surah Al-Ma’idah (5:21) commands: “O my people, enter the Holy Land which Allah has assigned to you.” Surah Al-Isra (17:104) foretells: “And We said to the Children of Israel after him, ‘Dwell in the land, and when the promise of the Hereafter comes to pass, We shall bring you as a mixed crowd.’”
