A Kuwaiti man participating in a demonstration in Washington in support of Operation “Epic Fury” delivered a striking message about a controversial chapter in Middle Eastern history.
Speaking to the camera, he explained that during the First Gulf War, many Palestinians living in Kuwait supported Saddam Hussein’s invasion and occupation of the country. According to him, this perceived betrayal led to a decisive response by Kuwait following its liberation.
He stated that, in the aftermath of the war, approximately 500,000 Palestinians were expelled from Kuwait as a result of their alignment with Saddam’s regime during the crisis. His remarks highlight lingering historical grievances that continue to shape regional attitudes and narratives decades later.
The video is now circulating widely online, drawing renewed attention to the complex and often overlooked dynamics between Arab populations during one of the most pivotal conflicts in modern Middle Eastern history.
