Conservative commentator Mark Levin delivered a furious warning to the Trump administration, demanding that it stop “trashing, smearing, bullying the little state of Israel.”
Levin blasted the idea that Washington should now portray the Iranian regime as more rational, moderate or trustworthy. His message was blunt: Iran remains the enemy regime, and America should not be “cozying up” to Tehran while pressuring Israel to limit its own defense.
His anger reflects a growing concern among pro-Israel voices in the United States: that Israel, after paying a heavy price on multiple fronts, is now being pressured at the diplomatic table just when its enemies are weakened. Levin said he does not know exactly what is happening behind the scenes, but warned that anyone who thinks they can force Israel into surrendering its security has “another thing coming.”
He also pointed to the dramatic change in tone from Washington. Not long ago, senior US defense officials openly praised the “fantastic marriage” between the American and Israeli militaries in the fight against common enemies. Now, Levin says, the public messaging looks very different — and deeply wrong.
