Former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s two attempts to impeach and remove President Donald Trump from office originated from the president’s proposal during a call with Ukraine’s leader for an inquiry into allegations of corruption involving the Biden family.

At that time, there were several pieces of evidence which hinted at corrupt practices, such as Hunter Biden receiving substantial payments from Burisma—a company being investigated for corruption—and Joe Biden’s remarks about withholding US aid to Ukraine unless the prosecutor looking into his son was fired.

Congressional investigators have launched a full-scale review of allegations that Joe and Hunter Biden received millions in bribes, with evidence suggesting tens of millions of dollars were paid to shell companies associated with the family.

The FBI has also reportedly uncovered documents indicating that both men were given five million dollars each.

Meanwhile, House Democrats have initiated impeachment proceedings to remove the matter from President Trump’s record.

The House Oversight Committee has revealed that an email exists which shows a White House staff member copied then-Vice President Joe Biden’s son, Hunter Biden, on plans for a phone call with Ukraine’s president.

This discovery marks a significant development in the ongoing investigation into potential corruption within the Biden family.

According to Just the News, this is a “dramatic shift” in the case.

The report cited the email copy to Hunter as “an unusual backdoor for a sensitive conversation with a foreign leader.”

“The Committee’s need for these Vice-Presidential records is specific and well-documented,” the letter from Chairman James Comer to Colleen Shogam of the National Archives and Record Administration said.

“The Committee seeks to craft legislative solutions aimed at deficiencies it has identified in the current legal framework regarding ethics laws and disclosure of financial interests related to the immediate family members of Vice Presidents and Presidents— deficiencies that may place American national security and interests at risk.”
