This tunnel route is part of a Hamas military outpost which, according to intelligence indications, was occupied by the organization’s platoon & company commanders.

Hamas’ activity adjacent to the Jordanian Hospital is another clear example of their exploitation of Gazan civilians as human shields, and occurred without the involvement or knowledge of the Jordanians. 

IDF troops are continuing to operate to map out this underground infrastructure, and are expanding their activities to additional sites where there are indications of terrorist activity.
