NEWSRAEL: How the situation looks from the other side of the border: Lebanese analysts see war approaching
Lebanese and Arab security sources say Israel has completed preparations for a multi-stage operation aimed at degrading Hezbollah’s ability to strike deep inside Israel.
Eram News reports the planned Israeli campaign will focus on what sources call the adversary’s “delicate nerve”: networks that produce precision-guided rockets, nearby launch platforms, and command centers on the ground. Decision-makers were reportedly presented with scenarios ranging from a rapid campaign to a prolonged war of attrition.
TARGETED PRE-EMPTIVE STRIKES
A former Lebanese security official said Israel’s opening hours would rely on concentrated air strikes and precise artillery, combined with electronic warfare to disable communications and disrupt sensor and tracking systems. “Day one” targets would include command-and-control hubs, stockpiles of precision munitions, assembly workshops, and UAV control sites. An Arab military source added that updated target lists covering southern Lebanon, the Bekaa Valley and around Beirut have been prepared in recent weeks.
