Revealed: 4 prominent centers of Iranian espionage and missile development in Syria

Officers who defected from the Syrian army revealed to the Syrian news network - "Orient" the 4 most prominent sites belonging to the Iranian Revolutionary Guards used for espionage and missile development in Syria.

These sites are concentrated around the capital Damascus and the city of Aleppo in the north of the country.

The Golden Headquarters (Al-Habiah) in Aleppo
An officer who previously served in the security services in the city of Aleppo, Major Sami al-Nael, said: "The most prominent intelligence and espionage headquarters that Iran had in the countryside of Aleppo was the al-Dhabiya headquarters where monitoring and espionage devices were installed, and Iran also dug a tunnel suitable for the passage of military trucks ( Zeal and Jeep Waz).

The headquarters is located inside a large agricultural farm between the town of Al-Dhabiya and the town of Tel Sha'ib south of the city of Aleppo.

"This headquarters is of great importance to the militias, and the commander of the Quds Force, General Qasem Soleimani, even fled into a tunnel to find a hiding place, at dawn on July 6, 2018, when Israel attacked in the area of Nirav Military Airport. When the Israeli attack ended, General Soleimani returned to the building in a civilian vehicle headquarters.

Al Waha Missile Development Center in Aleppo
The officer confirms that Iran has centers for the development of its missiles in the rural areas of the province of Aleppo in northern Syria, as it has since 2014 established centers for the development of medium and long-range ballistic missiles, within the headquarters of the military factories in Jabal al-Waha in the A-Safirah region, in the southeastern countryside of Aleppo, where the (raw) missiles are transferred from Iran and then upgraded in the laboratories of the Syrian Ministry of Defense.

As for the fate of these missiles, the Major confirmed that the modified missiles are being transferred to militia warehouses and headquarters in separate areas, most of which are concentrated in the southern and eastern rural areas of Aleppo, and the reason for this is the large areas of uninhabited agricultural land occupied by the Iranian militias and their absolute control over all rural areas in the province , unlike the other rural areas where there are rebel militias.

Damascus Rif District - Ballistic missiles in Jamrayah - Jamrayah
Abd al-Rahman al-Waisy, a defector from Fugitive 107, also confirmed that Iran has launchers for ballistic missiles, as well as headquarters where they develop and manufacture short- and medium-range missiles, which indicates that the platforms and headquarters are located inside the scientific research building in Jamrayah, and that Israel has previously attacked Several times these sites, and one of the attacks was during an attempt to transfer a shipment of missiles from Lebanon to Syria.

The Glass Building – the eye that watches over Damascus
The glass building, which was previously reported by many local and international media, is the largest espionage center in Damascus. Previously, the building was used to provide support and logistics (ammunition and supplies) to the Iranian forces in Syria, and then became a spy headquarters, where radar and wiretapping devices were installed, the purpose of which was to help communication companies intercept all conversations that took place in or around Damascus, as confirmed by Captain Iyad Kasser for the "Orient Net" network.

Orient revealed in a report a year ago the most prominent sites from which Iran conducts its activities in Syria. According to the information, Iran has 5 headquarters from which it conducts its activities in Syria, including the Nirav airport, the defense factories in Safira, Noble and Zahra in Aleppo, Verbiya and Salma in Latakia, Al-Qusair , Tal al-Khalh, al-Kariatein, and Tadmor in the province of Homs, the glass building, al-Sayida Zeinab and Jamaria, the intelligence building in Jebel Qasyon in Damascus, al-Bukhamal, al-Mayadeen and the Deir ez-Zor military airport.
