BREAKING: Belgian police officer stabbed to death by man yelling "Allah Akbar" in Brussels

Belgium's federal prosecutor's office said two officers were targeted in the incident near Brussels North station.

A police officer was attacked and stabbed to death by a man yelling "Allah Akbar!" near a train station in Brussels, officials say.

A judicial official told the Associated Press there was "a suspicion of a terror attack".

The attacker was shot, local media reported.
