There is one type of aid that every person can give to Israel: prayer.
In response to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's accusation that French President Emmanuel Macron is "fueling antisemitic flames" in the country, French Minister for European Affairs Benjamin Haddad replied that "we have nothing to learn in the fight against antisemitism. This issue, which poisons society in Europe, should not be exploited." Haddad noted that "we have seen a rise in violent antisemitic incidents since October 7" and claimed that authorities in France "have always been ready to act against antisemitism."
This may be one of the most ironic statements to come out of France in decades, given that it is coming from a country that has centuries of new hatred; has a marked increase in anti-semitic acts since Oct. 7; and through the Vichy government during WWII, which collaborated with the Nazis, was responsible for the death of over 75,000 Jews who were sent to their deaths in concentration camps.
Gideon's Chariot B has been approved by the Israeli government, tens of thousands of reservists are being called up, and specific plans are being made to control Gaza city and remove Hamas. Not unsurprisingly, this has now pressured Hamas to want to negotiate for the release of hostages. But as per usual, they are again proposing only release of a few hostages, exchange for hundreds of currently imprisoned terrorists in Israel. And again as usual, part of their demands include the IDF withdrawing from Gaza, unlimited "aid" (translate - weapons) to come into Gaza, and more of their typical demands.
