Berkeley Turning Point USA event disrupted by violent protests

NEWSMAX -- Fights and altercations broke out Monday night at the University of California, Berkeley, where Turning Point USA held its final campus tour stop of the year.

Berkeley and UC Berkeley campus police confirmed four arrests, including a Turning Point supporter and a protester captured on video in a violent altercation, according to local reports.

One person was arrested for battery, and four other students were arrested overnight for vandalism related to the event, authorities said, adding that more details would be released soon.
