Former hostage Omer Shem Tov was abducted from the Nova festival and held hostage by Hamas for 505 days.

In a new interview with Australian Jewish News, he says Hamas didn’t starve him because Gaza lacked food; they starved him on purpose.

A month before his release, Hamas suddenly increased his food intake to make him appear healthier. 

Omer says he was forced to work in tunnels, dig them, and carry hundreds of UN aid boxes inside, while he watched huge amounts of food go to waste.

His words are clear: “If there is starvation, it’s caused by Hamas.”
