During a May 8, 2026 sermon at Masjid At-Taqwa, an imam said he never imagined there would come a time when people could openly speak out against Zionism and Jews “as they do today.”

He then claimed that Allah had decreed that Jews would live in perpetual disgrace, “begging for money” and asking others to pay their bills. He also said that Jews curse the Prophet Muhammad.

This was not criticism of Israeli policy. It was a religious attack on Jews as Jews, delivered from a pulpit in an American mosque.
