Several Palestinians who recently began cooperating with Israel were injured in recent days when an explosive device detonated inside a tunnel shaft during IDF operations in northern Gaza.
These individuals, some of whom were previously affiliated with Hamas, are familiar with the tunnel networks in the area and had been assisting Israeli forces during searches.
Following the blast, IDF soldiers provided immediate medical aid, and the wounded were evacuated by helicopter, accompanied by elite 669 rescue unit soldiers, for treatment in Israel.
Two weeks ago, it was reported that the IDF rescued other Palestinian collaborators who were injured when a booby-trapped building collapsed in Gaza.
