This is how the planning of the October 7 attack began from the perspective of Hamas: a new study reveals for the first time exclusive materials on how Hamas understood Israel starting in 2021, the preparations and decisions that led to the 10/7 massacres. 

The study, conducted under the leadership of Lt. Col. Halevi, a senior researcher at the Jerusalem Center for Foreign and Security Affairs (JCFA), is based on primary sources, including the archives of the official Hamas newspaper "Palestine", the official website of the al-Qassam Brigades and Telegram channels that closely documented what was happening in the Gaza Strip.

The study shows that Hamas, in cooperation with other terrorist organizations, planned a combined attack from all fronts, including the occupation of strategic areas in the Galilee and the Negev, an armed intifada in Judea and Samaria and among Israeli Arabs, and the launching of rockets to damage key infrastructures in the country.
