Sources in Syria report that today, a cargo plane belonging to the Iranian "Mahan Air" company, which contained a large cargo of Iranian ammunition intended for the Lebanese Hezbollah and pro-Iranian militias in Sura, was refused landing at Hamimim Airport (Latakia area).
The plane had to retrace its steps to Iran while still in the air.
The airport in Latakia is under the full control of the Russian army and the same sources claim that the Russians are the ones who refused to approve the landing of the plane, due to an agreement between Israel and Russia (agreed upon in recent weeks) that Israel will not attack civilian airports in Syria as long as no proxy military passes through them The Iranian led by Hezbollah.
