A new report reveals a significant and alarming shift in ISIS operations, as the terror organization is now reportedly training militants directly on Turkish soil instead of relying on fighters with experience from Syria or Iraq.
The development came to light following a recent attack near the Israeli Consulate in Istanbul on April 7. Analysis of video footage indicates that the three attackers demonstrated coordinated movement, weapons familiarity, and operational discipline—despite having no known combat experience abroad.
This strongly suggests they were trained locally within Turkey.
The attackers arrived in a pre-planned manner, exited their vehicle quickly and efficiently, and advanced toward their target without hesitation. Each carried similar backpacks likely containing weapons, ammunition, and possibly explosives. Their behavior reflected prior briefing, clear role assignments, and familiarity with the terrain, supported by evidence they had conducted surveillance beforehand.
