Iran accused one of its own nuclear scientists of working on behalf of Israel’s Mossad, aiding in the targeted killings of other researchers working for Iran’s nuclear program
The Iranian judiciary announced Wednesday that a nuclear scientist had been executed, after he was convicted of aiding an Israeli spy agency during the 12-day war with Israel in June.
In a statement released by the Mizan Online website, which represents Iran’s court system, the regime said that Rozbeh Vadi, a member of Iran’s Nuclear Science and Technology Research Institute under the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran, was hanged for aiding the Mossad in the targeted killings of fellow Iranian nuclear scientists.
“Rozbeh Vadi… who had been arrested and tried on charges of espionage and intelligence cooperation with the Zionist regime, was executed this morning, August 6, 2025, after the completion of full criminal due process and the upholding of the verdict by the Supreme Court,” Mizan reported.
